How do I use Boom Cards?

Get a Boom account (free or paid)

1) The way I use them the most is to log into my account, go to my Library, find the deck, then play in Presentation mode. No digital data for this method, but I almost always include printable data sheets for my creations and prefer to use that, anyway!

–or–

1) Use “fast pins” link (that expires after a number of days) to send to families or use in class without having to log into an account (no data for this method)

–or–

2) Create your class with student names and assign decks directly to each student (data for this method)

Important Boom info

To use Boom Cards, you must be connected to the Internet. Boom Cards play on modern browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge). Apps are available for modern Android, iPads, iPhones, and Kindle Fires. For security and privacy, adults must have an account to use and assign Boom Cards. You will be able to assign the Boom Cards you are buying with “Fast Pins,” (a form of play that gives instant feedback to students for self-grading Boom Cards). For assignment options that report student progress back to you, you will need to purchase a subscription. If you are new to Boom, you will be offered a free trial.
