These all come with digital and print activities and are aimed at preschool, pre-K, and Kindergarten ages.
Activity 1: I Love Who I Am. Social narrative where students meet 10 different kids with varying disabilities who celebrate their differences. Includes interactive slides allow students to practice being a good friend and also share what they are good at and what they struggle with. Print activities include full-size printable book, small coloring book, and a 3-page worksheet activity.
Activity 2: Will You Just Chill Out? (Better ways to help your autistic friend.) Social narrative where you meet a student who has an autistic friend, and he wants to share some better ways to be a friend (rather than telling him to “chill out”). Interactive slides allow students to practice being a good friend. Print activities include full-size printable book, small coloring book, and a 2-page worksheet activity with accommodation pages.
Activity 3: I Can be Friend with Everyone. A more generic social narrative about how to be a friend to everyone, regardless of disability or other differences, and then simple drag-and-drop scenarios to practice the “friend” skills such as “Diego wants to play, too! Click to see what they say, then move him to his friends.” Print activities include full-size story to print in color, a short coloring sheet for class and a take-home coloring book that has the lesson in it, as well.
Activity 4: Calm Down Corner & Classroom Rules Posters for Behavior Management. Looking for classroom décor that brings clear and clean visuals for your young students? ► You will need Google Drive in order to access this resource. Your students will also need Google accounts so they can access the activity if you are assigning to them.
