Requesting Activities Adjectives Speech Therapy & Special Education and ABA


Build speech and language skills with this Requesting with adjectives communication activity. This expressive language requesting activity teaches expressing needs and wants using an adjective. Great to work on antonyms and opposites for communication and ABA or preschool language requesting and manding in a FUN and inclusive way!

This simple activity teaches with Boardmaker™ symbols how to request help using 1-word to 4-word sentences with an adjective. Situations are presented like someone thinking about a red crayon and being offered a blue and a red crayon. “What should he say?,” and the student creates the words of the sentence using an adjective. Teaches how to ask for help and advocate for needs and wants using verbal or symbol language (PECS™).

Includes interactive digital activities, core words communication book, adaptive book, and task cards, perfect for enhancing communication and perfect for ABA or preschool language work. Work on requesting and manding in a FUN and inclusive way!
